We have certified a contactless credit card reader on the SmartStart® Pay(1), which can be ordered new or upgraded from existing Access Terminals and mounted on the same hardware.
Usually compatible with existing Codax installations(2), upgrading is easy to enable the following new features:

Select wash programs from the menu directly on 4” colour touchscreen card reader.

Run automated regular and off-peak pricing schedules.

Automatic void for fail-to-start wash programs(2).

Remote update of prices and schedule.

Wash availability is mirrored by the card reader, i.e., deactivated out of hours.

Enhanced card reader interface always shows customer instruction information.

Queue a customer whilst the wash is in use.
Available on Retro or Ultra configuration systems, card transactions require an internet connection to process, via a built-in sim modem or a wired internet connection(2).
